Oxford Studies in Ancient Philosophy is a volume of original articles on all aspects of ancient philosophy. The articles may be of substantial length, and include critical notices of major books. The first volume of OSAP was published in 1983. The founding editor was Julia Annas, who was in charge till 1992; ten annual volumes were published under her editorship, and three supplementary volumes. C. C. W. Taylor was then editor from 1993 to 1998 and edited six volumes. David Sedley took over in 1998, and edited eighteen volumes, up to volume 34. Since 2000 OSAP has been published twice yearly, in summer and winter, in both cloth and paperback. Brad Inwood took over as editor in 2007. Information for
