Living Music is an innovative promotion aimed specifically at amateur orchestras. Living Music brings together fantastic works by Oxford’s house composers, all of which have been composed within the last 35 years. The works are all fun to play and rewarding to listen to, and they vary in difficulty and duration. They’ve all been selected with amateur performing groups in mind.
Oxford University Press is offering substantially reduced hire fees for any of the works in this promotion. Free perusal scores for any of the featured works are available on request.
NEW for 2009: To celebrate what would have been Hoddinott’s 80th and Mathias’s 75th birthdays, ALL hire works by these two illustrious Welsh composers have been added to ‘Living Music’ for the duration of 2009.
