Edited by Bob Chilcott and Ken Burton Bob Chilcott has been involved with choral music all his life, first as a Chorister and then a Choral Scholar at King's College, Cambridge. Later, he sang and composed music for 12 years with the King's Singers. His experiences with that group, his passionate commitment to young and amateur choirs, and his profound belief that music can unite people, have inspired him both to composer full-time and, through proactive workshopping, to promote choral music worldwide.
Ken Burton is an international conductor, performer, composer and educator. He us currently musical director of AVE (Adventist Vocal Ensemble), Croydon SDA Gospel Choir and principal conductor of the London Adventist Chorale. As a workshop leader for groups of all levels of experience, Burton makes regular visits to schools, churches and choral groups all over the world, often working with hundreds of voices.Bob Chilcott's website Ken Burton's website

"These are high-class arrangements . . . The arrangements themselves are consistently pleasurable, and many are a joy. Ken Burton . . . contributes five of the 12 numbers. His work seems to go from strength to strength, always writing from inside the style, never doing a fussy or flashy thing where a simple thing will do, consistently providing both an element aof surprise and emotional uplift where needed . . . Multi-talented Roderick Williams provides a different style of arranging entirely - clever, self-aware, tricksy, virtuoso . . . The book is attractively presented, not too bulky, and the music, even where quite complex, is clearly laid out and easy to read." - Matthew Greenall, The Singer Oct 04 "Since Ken Burton and Bob
Chilcott have both been involved in writing and arranging music for this book, it is no wonder that the result is a collection of fresh and exciting songs . . . Any choir looking for something lively, challenging and a bit different this Christmas should definitely take a look at this collection of songs. Highly recommended." - Church Music Quarterly, September 04
