"At just 25, Tarik O'Regan already has an established reputation as a rising star. The half-a-dozen works published in New Horizons give some indication of what the fuss is all about . . . Perhaps the most impressive piece is Care charminge Sleepe . . . Written for Clare College Cambridge and dedicated to Robin Holloway, it takes further the idiom of Ave Maria, with an ease of melody and richness of harmony of which Holloway himself might be proud.
