Read Write Inc. Comprehension & Comprehension Plus (Series)

Read Write Inc. Comprehension follows on from Read Write Inc. Phonics and further develops children's comprehension, spelling and writing skills. It aims to get all children to a National Curriculum level 3 by Year 4/P5. It includes 30 weekly modules covering fiction and non-fiction texts, all with a wealth of reading and writing activities. 14 of the modules have self contained texts and 16 link to published quality fiction and non-fiction children's books, providing a range of author styles and text types. Read Write Inc. Comprehension Plus for Year 5 and Year 6/P6 and P7 teaches pupils how to read texts with a deep level of comprehension and turns them into really fluent writers! It includes Anthologies which contain complete short stories, poems and non-fiction texts by well-known children's authors such as Michael Morpurgo and Jeremy Strong and step-by-step writing activities.
