Readership: There are introductory courses in economics at almost all level one undergraduate programmes in the social sciences as well as in professional courses, like MBA, at a graduate level. This book is aimed at the more able and mature students who are willing to put in effort in order to properly understand the language of economics with all its promise and limitations. For those courses where the objective is to teach students how to think as economists, this book will work as a core text. It will also work as supplementary reading for those courses where understanding economic reasoning is a secondary objective.
Amos Witztum, Senior Lecturer in Economics, London Metropolitan University
