Edited by Steven Ripp, Research Associate Professor, University of Tennessee Center for Environmental Biotechnology, and Theodore Henry, Research Assistant Professor, Department of Forestry Wildlife and Fisheries, University of Tennessee Steven Ripp currently serves as a Research Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee Center for Environmental Biotechnology and Department of Microbiology and is a partner in the life sciences biotechnology firm 490 BioTech, Inc. His research interests include bio- and nanosensor development for human therapeutics and diagnostics, preclinical bioluminescent imaging, environmental toxicology and nanotoxicology, and assay development for food
and waterborne pathogens.
Theodore Henry currently serves as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Forestry Wildlife and Fisheries and at the Center for Environmental Biotechnology at the University of Tennessee. He is also a Research Council of the United Kingdom Academic Fellow in the School of Biomedical and Biological Sciences at Plymouth University, Plymouth UK.
