It is really good value for money!" - 4 Star Amazon Review "I love the way researchers are personalised in the 'meet the researchers' sections, with little photos so that students can associate names to faces and the diagrammatic chapter summaries are always useful as some of my students like to do a mindmap of units for revision purposes." - Jackie Ribeiro, St Gabriel's School "I would highly recommend this book to anyone studying AS Level AQA Psychology. I taught myself everything from
this book. The book supplied everything I needed to know in detail, and got me a solid A in my exam. If you're looking to get an A in your exam too, then this is the book to buy!" - 5 Star Amazon Review "The Complete Companions provided great example answers and comments! Very easy to read - great for students and teachers. Brilliant!" - ATP "Not surprisingly, the book is very impressive. It is called the Complete Companion because it provides everything an AS Psychology student will need to be successful at AQA 'A' AS Psychology. The book covers all of topics and skills needed for the new specification and provides exam tips throughout. There are some great activities included and my favourite bits are the brief biographies of some of the researchers covered in the book. I
was very impressed with the quality of the layout and design of the book." - 5 Star Amazon Review "This book covers all of the material in excellent detail with a large number of questions for practice to make learning material easier, an in depth revision section at the end of each section and a great selection of exam questions with ideal sample answers. It's a must have for all Psychology students." - 5 Star Amazon Review "This book is written in such a way that you don't realise that you are reading a textbook. This makes reading a lot more fun. Loads of case studies. Very interesting." - 5 Star Amazon Review "If you fail the A Level after buying this book, I can only assume that you haven't yet taken it out of the bag!" - 5 Star Amazon Review "This is
so helpful, I would definitely recommend it. I bought this book about a month and a half prior to my exam and practically self-taught myself everything I needed for my exams. I can't say much more than 'Get it. You DEFINITELY won't regret it." - 5 Star Amazon Review "This book has helped me very much with my revision for my AS Psychology exams coming up. It includes definitions of key terms and also the use of bright colours is great." - 5 Star Amazon Review "Very helpful book. I am on an Access to Social Studies course and this book has everything I needed in it. My Psychology tutor rates this book very highly." - 5 Star Amazon Review "The Complete Companion series for Psychology A Level is an invaluable series which is available for AQA, and now WJEC exam boards,
each book tailored to the particular exam board specification. I have used the AS and A2 textbooks for many years, buying the new spec editions when they were introduced. The textbooks are detailed, informative and attractively laid out with clear heading and sub-headings. For ease of use=4/5; Flexibility of use=5/5; Value for money=5/5." - Gill Ries, Teacher of Psychology (full review can be viewed on Schoolzone www.schoolzone.co.uk) "This book has helped me so much through the start of my studies and is presented so well that it is easy to find exactly what you are looking for!-Great book and I would seriously recommend it to anyone starting A-level Psychology." - 5 Star Amazon Review "I never normally write reviews for anything but this book was so good that I felt it
deserved all the praise I could give it! I actually enjoyed revising and learning from this book because the pages were so much more exciting than the plain text in the AQA books which I was provided by the school. The language is more informal so I found it easier to understand but this doesn't take anything away from its academic credibility! The best part of this book is the question and answer pages. It provides questions (some of which did actually come up on my exam paper) and shows you two different example answers and explains and points out what is right and wrong in both. This helps you create the perfect answer and after getting a D in my Unit 1 exam originally, I scrapped using the AQA book and just studied from this one! Then I retook the exam and got an A because it shows you
how to actually answer the questions properly! Cannot recommend this book enough!" - 5 Star Amazon Review "It is so well-structured and the organisation is helpful." - Marion Thompson, teacher in charge of Psychology at Saint Martin's School, Solihull "They're full of engaging and colourful, great examples and activity suggestions for consolidation - great variety." - Sharon Robson, psychology teacher at Harton Technology College, South Shields "I love The Complete Companions because they are relevant and easily accessible." - Hayley Illingworth, psychology teacher at The Piggott School, Wargrave "I love The Complete Companions because they are accessible with pretty pictures!" - L.
