A play for children, with unison songs accompanied by tuned percussion, and speech. The words are by Ian Serraillier and the setting is a cafe in nineteenth-century Istanbul. The action can include puppets, and there are additional optional instrumental sections (Prologue, Interlude, and Dance). The score includes useful notes and everything needed by the children for performance.
