The Obrecht Motets is a series of five works using material derived from the motets 'Salve Regina' and 'Ave regina caelorum' by the Netherlands composer Jacobus Obrecht. The pieces do not imitate or reproduce Obrecht's style of composition. Fragments of the original melodic material, and the plainsong on which it is based are varied and permutated.
